Information about the National Guideline Clearinghouse

Since the National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC) was taken offline in July 2018, AHRQ has conducted various activities aimed at restoring what had been a highly valued resource of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. However, the evidence-based practice ecosystem has evolved in NGC’s public absence and AHRQ is aware that the previous NGC is no longer sufficient. AHRQ has decided to launch a reimagined NGC and secured funding to do so. The AHRQ program team is beginning to gather requirements for a new NGC.
