At the conclusion of this module, the participant will be able to: 1. define an outbreak, 2. describe the purpose of an outbreak investigation, 3. describe triggers for an outbreak investigation, 4. identify the steps for conducting an outbreak investigation, and 5. develop a written summary and evaluation of an outbreak experience.
