AHRQ Research Summit on Transforming Care for People Living With Multiple Chronic Conditions
Overview: On November 17-18, 2020, AHRQ hosted a virtual Research Summit on Transforming Care for People Living With Multiple Chronic Conditions for the purpose of identifying a set of specific research priorities that would align with the Agency's core competencies and have a high likelihood of meaningfully improving people's care experiences and health outcomes. Over the course of two half-days, participants heard from a variety of experts about the challenges facing people with MCC, key research gaps identified through recent evidence reviews, and methodological challenges and solutions for conducting needed research. The more than 100 diverse expert and stakeholder participants then engaged in a series of lively small group discussions to identify refine, and prioritize areas of future research for AHRQ consideration.
