Overview of TAKEheart Training Curriculum & Resources
TAKEheart training materials and related resources are designed to provide actionable guidance to hospitals wishing to implement evidence-based strategies for expanding patient participation in cardiac rehabilitation (CR).
TAKEheart training materials are organized into consolidated curricula for each of four focus areas. Training materials for each focus area include a customizable slide deck, an actionable implementation guide, and a comprehensive resource guide. The training materials included within each of the above-listed, four focus areas are consolidated and streamlined versions of ten, expert-led, on-line trainings, originally presented live to over 100 hospitals as they worked in real time to implement proven strategies for increasing patient participation in their CR programs. Recordings of all ten expert-led sessions and PDF versions of supplementary materials for each are available for download below.
Additional TAKEheart resources available for download below include recordings and event summaries from TAKEheart Learning Community webinars that were originally held between 2020–2022. These webinars feature experts and CR champions from diverse hospitals sharing knowledge and strategies for addressing operational challenges associated with running CR programs as well for addressing the needs of traditionally underserved populations.
