This resource provides guidelines for effective storytelling as a device to motivate a group to action. A successful story contains a challenge, a choice, and an outcome. The use of a story can facilitate successful communication by leaders. Storytelling is one of a number of tools for nurturing leadership, which is aligned with Key Driver 6: Nurture leadership and create a culture of continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
