Hospital Financial Measures Database (HFMD)
The AHRQ Hospital Financial Measures Database (HFMD) contains measures that may be used to analyze and evaluate the overall financial health, efficiency, and effectiveness of hospitals. These measures may be used by hospitals, governing boards, policymakers, and policy analysts to compare hospital financial performance trends and peer group averages. AHRQ created HFMD as a resource to address existing measurement gaps in hospital financial information.
