Methods of Instruction
- Review training materials, including notes and accompanying activity, to prepare for training.
- Determine how staff will be trained. See suggested ways to deploy education below.
- Giving a didactic presentation, then review and customize the slide set for staff and notes to prepare for delivering the education and identify a meeting and/or time to train appropriate staff across all shifts on the topic.
- Watching the video in a group setting, then ensure you have necessary equipment to deliver training and identify a pre-existing meeting, such as an in-service, and/or schedule a time to train appropriate staff across all shifts on the topic.
- Instructing staff to complete self-guided education, then work with facility staff to determine the best way to deploy and monitor completion of the activity.
- Gather training materials from the Resources section, props, and supplies necessary to conduct training.
- Deploy training to staff.
