Staff Training Documents and Video Links
This toolkit provides several training documents and videos for educating staff about the decolonization protocol. These include just-in-time training documents for rapid training of staff providing temporary coverage, and computer-based training modules for more formalized training of staff. The post-test questions and answers can be used to confirm the adequacy of learning.
Training materials for implementing decolonization based on the Active Bathing to Eliminate (ABATE) Infection Trial1 and on alternative approaches are provided. Hospitals should use the training materials appropriate to the protocol option that they choose to implement. Staff training videos also are provided.
Training documents in this toolkit are provided in PDF versions as well as editable versions that allow hospitals to customize the documents to suit their needs.
