
Teachable Moments
Teachable Moments are educational materials, intended to engage direct care staff in infection prevention and the improvement of quality of care for nursing home residents. These materials are meant to accompany the topics in the webinars of this toolkit, and provide an opportunity to promote evidence-based, good-quality care.
These Teachable Moments are built on principles of infection prevention and quality skin care, as well as the importance of facilitating effective communication in the healthcare team.
