CUSP and MRSA Prevention
CUSP aims to eliminate any preventable harm by focusing on improving patient safety from a systems perspective, relying on partnership of frontline personnel and leadership. CUSP promotes a culture of safety, understanding that behavioral change goes hand-in-hand with technical interventions. Successful CUSP initiatives are informed by evidence, guided by valid measures, led by staff, and supported by senior leaders. CUSP is not meant to replace other safety improvement models, but to support, combine, and work in tandem with them.
